KudoAsk

Terms of use

Last updated 28 September 2026

These terms are between you (the business using KudoAsk) and Jonathan Cogswell, who runs KudoAsk ("we"). By using KudoAsk you agree to them.

What you may send

  • Only your own customers. Invite only people who bought from you or used your service. No bought, rented or scraped lists.
  • Ask everyone the same way. Don't use KudoAsk to invite only customers you expect to be happy.
  • No incentives. Don't offer anything in exchange for a review, in the invite or anywhere else connected to it.
  • Follow the review site's rules, including Google's review policies, and the email laws that apply to you (for example CAN-SPAM in the US and CASL in Canada). You are responsible for having the right to email your customers.
  • Accurate details. Your business name, postal address and review link must be yours and correct.

Our part

  • We send the invites you set up, include an unsubscribe link and your postal address, and honour unsubscribes, bounces and complaints across all businesses.
  • We may refuse or pause any account that draws spam complaints or bounces, or that we believe breaks these terms. We may also refuse messages that break the rules above.

Free plan

The free plan includes 50 invites a month. We may change plan limits with notice by email. If paid plans are added later, they will be offered through the platform you use (for example Wix billing) and you'll choose whether to take one.

No guarantees

KudoAsk is provided "as is". We don't promise any number of reviews, and we aren't responsible for what customers write or for decisions review sites make. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (which, on the free plan, is zero).

Ending

You can stop using KudoAsk and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@kudoask.com. We may end the service with 30 days' notice by email.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
