Getting started

Sign in with your email. The link we send creates your free account.
In Settings, add your business name, your Google review link and your postal address, then choose when the invite goes out.
Use Email me a preview to see exactly what customers will get.
Add customers who have paid you under Send invites, or connect your shop platform when it's available for yours.

Questions

Can I send invites only to happy customers?: No. Google's review policy forbids "selectively" asking for positive reviews, and the US Federal Trade Commission treats filtering like that as potentially deceptive. KudoAsk asks every customer the same way, which is also what the FTC gives as the safe example.
Can I offer a discount for a review?: No. Google bans incentives for reviews, even for honest ones, and KudoAsk refuses messages that offer them.
Why can't I use my Yelp link?: Yelp asks businesses not to request reviews at all and may flag businesses that do. KudoAsk works with Google, Facebook and Trustpilot links.
How often is a customer emailed?: Once in 180 days per business, plus one reminder 5 days later if you turn reminders on and they haven't opened the review link.
Who is the email from?: Your business name, sent from KudoAsk's mail server. Replies go to your reply-to address.
What happens when someone unsubscribes?: They never get another invite from your business. If an address bounces or someone marks an invite as spam, no business on KudoAsk can email them again.
Why was my account paused?: Accounts are paused automatically after 2 spam complaints or 10 bounced addresses in 30 days. Both usually mean a list of people who weren't customers. Email us and we'll look at it with you.
What does it cost?: The free plan includes 50 invites a month. The QR card maker and the review link helper are free without an account.
How do I delete my account?: Email hello@kudoask.com from the address you sign in with.
